SWEET SIXTEEN!!

After the roaring success of the past 15 hockey pools the Kanjis now bring you Version 16.0 of the world's simplest playoff pool!

This year the playoff pool once again faces off equal seed teams against each other!

Details:
1) The NHL playoffs are a best versus worst in each conference:
#1 East (Pittsburgh Penguins) plays #8 East (New York Islanders)
#1 West (Chicago Blackhawks) plays #8 West (Minnesota Wild) etc

In this pool you select between equals:
#1 East (Pittsburgh Penguins) vs #1 West (Chicago Blackhawks)
#8 East (New York Islanders) vs #8 West (Minnesota Wild) etc

2) So... In each of the eight pairs, pick the ONE team that will go the furthest AND score the most goals AND have the most shutouts for the duration of the playoffs! Simples!

3) Keep in mind that the teams paired on this list do not actually play each other, however if you select correctly you may just pick the 2 teams that end up in the finals, which happened last year!

Scoring:
a) You will earn 1 point for every goal your selected teams score
b) You will earn 3 points for every game your selected teams win by a shutout (ie allowing 0 goals)
c) Bonus 1, 2, 3 are 15 points each
d) Bonus 4 is 25 points
